If you’ve decided to sell and want to ensure an excellent return at Online Live Auction bring your fine jewellery, art or collectibles to American Auction & Appraisers. Together we agree upon a minimum price for your items. This “reserve” amount is set at a level that protects your interests while assuring the highest probability of a sale. You will receive a Receipt and Consignment Agreement for your items. If the bidding at the Auction doesn’t reach your reserve price, your item can be re-offered in the next Auction or simply returned to you after a small handling fee. Additionally, a “Cash Buy Out” can be arranged upon request.

We do extensive Advertising & Marketing for each Auction. With Three (3) Online Platforms we reach over 3 Million bidders in over 125 Countries. These include many parties that have already been bidders at Online Live Auctions. Additionally, we market to local and international buyers through many other channels, including our illustrated catalogue, media advertising, publicity events and website.

Our Live Auctions take place every month in Toronto and Boca Raton. In order to increase the number of potential buyers, we accept telephone bids from anywhere in the world. The Founders of American Auction & Appraisers have networks that attract international buyers from England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, the United States and many other countries.

After the Auction a list of your individual sale prices will be sent to you. In addition, your sale prices are available for view on our website. The net proceeds are paid to you 35 days after the Auction and are accompanied by a statement of our agreed upon deductions for commission and other expenses (if any).

If you are unable to visit us, we can arrange an evaluation at your Home, Office or Bank. We want to ensure you’re able to sell your Fine Jewellery, Art or Collectables in the safest manner possible. If that means coming to you or organizing secure transport for your valuable pieces we are happy to do so.
